Introducing Solids & Baby Weaning Workshops in Ramsey
First Bites – Introducing Solids with Connected Parents CIC
Getting ready to introduce food to your baby?
Your baby's first tastes are just around the corner. Are you feeling ready?
Starting solids is an exciting milestone, but it can also bring a whole new set of questions!
When should you start? How do you know your baby is ready? What foods should you offer first? Is baby-led weaning the way to go, or is spoon-feeding just as good? And how do you make sure your baby is eating safely?
Our First Bites Introducing Solids workshops in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire are here to help you make sense of it all.
Led by experienced infant feeding practitioner Jo Thompson, these relaxed, friendly sessions bring together evidence-based information, practical guidance and the opportunity to ask all those questions you've been wondering about.
There's no pressure to follow a particular approach. Just helpful information, reassurance and the confidence to find what works for you and your baby.

A Little Extra Support After the Workshop
It's one thing to talk about introducing solids, but we know the questions don't always stop once you get home!
That's why everyone attending First Bites is invited to join a dedicated WhatsApp support group after their session.
It's a space to ask questions, share experiences and stay connected with other parents navigating the same stage of their baby's development.
Because sometimes it's the little questions that pop up during everyday life that make all the difference.
Prefer One-to-One Introducing Solids Support?
Sometimes you'd rather have the time and space to talk through your own baby's needs.
Jo also offers individual Introducing Solids sessions, tailored to your family.
These can be helpful if you'd prefer personalised guidance, have particular questions or would simply feel more comfortable in a one-to-one setting.
