Connected Parents is all about connection — not only learning about birth and feeding, but connecting with:

Between us, we’ve supported hundreds of families through pregnancy, birth, and the early days of parenthood. We’re bringing together our own tried-and-tested course formats, blending my Birth Prep in a Box approach with Jo’s antenatal breastfeeding preparation course materials.

Practical, real-world preparation.

This isn’t a ‘sit and listen’ kind of course—and there are no awkward icebreakers! Instead, we’ve designed it to feel welcoming, informal, and genuinely useful so you leave feeling more confident, more informed, and better connected to your baby, your support network, and yourself.

What is Sliding Scale Pricing?

Sliding scale pricing is a way to make our course more accessible, while still honouring the time, energy and resources it takes to offer it.

We find that most families choose the standard £250 price option, however the lower and higher options allow you to choose the price level that best reflects your current financial situation. This means that people who are able to contribute more can do so, and in turn, support others who need to pay less.Fully fundedF

Fully funded places are also available for those in need, please just get in touch.

There’s no need to explain your choice — we trust you to choose the level that feels right for you. By paying what you can, you're helping us keep this offering sustainable, inclusive, and community-focused.

💛 Everyone is welcome, and support is available if needed — just get in touch.

We are able to offer sliding scale pricing, making our courses more accessible, thanks to generous funding from Cheshire Community Foundation.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should I book antenatal classes?

This is a personal choice for each family, but generally somewhere between 20–30 weeks of pregnancy is ideal. This gives you plenty of time to absorb the information and practise the tools before your baby arrives.

Are these antenatal classes suitable for first-time parents?

Yes, they’re fantastic for first-time parents. However, they’re not exclusively for first babies. Many families expecting their second or third baby join us because they’d like a different experience this time or want to prepare in a more relaxed and supportive environment.

Do birth partners attend the course?

Yes! The course is designed just as much for birth partners as it is for the pregnant person. Birth partners leave feeling confident about how they can support during labour, birth and the early days with a newborn.

Are these classes an alternative to NCT antenatal classes?

Many parents join our course because they are looking for a more relaxed, local alternative to larger antenatal classes. Between us, we bring over 30 years of experience supporting families through pregnancy, birth and early parenting, and parents often tell us they value the smaller group size and the opportunity for open, honest conversations.

Where do the classes take place?

The classes take place in a comfortable home-from-home venue in Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, easily accessible from Huntingdon, Chatteris, March and surrounding villages.
